Beans and Rice Recipe
Ingredients
  • 1 cup beans, any kind, soaked overnight, simmered until almost soft
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • handful of rice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Tropical Heat cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tropical Heat garlic powder
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of Tropical Heat pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Method
  1. the beans overnight and simmer until soft
  2. Add the other ingredients to the beans and simmer until the mixture is soft.
  3. Serve with chapati.

It tastes better on the second day.
